About this wine
Light to medium weight this has a palate of unripe earthy red cherries and plums, firm fleshy tannins with a taut acid line finishing with spice and wood smoke indicative of the time in new French oak.
“1998 was the year my Sommelier studies were completed. Looking for the next move and a new challenge; the decision to study winemaking was made, a step into the unknown, something new & alternative. This wine is a reflection of that, allowing the path to follow its own course, with no knowing where it will lead in the future. In 2010, the wine chosen was Nebbiolo.”
– Andrew Wood, Owner and Winemaker
